She completed her internship at Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital in 2003 and finished her residency at University of California at Davis 2006. Dr. Mollat’s interest in Equine Internal Medicine is driven by her desire to find answers to complex cases that lead to an appropriate treatment plan or provide peace of mind for owners and referring veterinarians. Her special interests include GI disease, biosecurity, neurologic disease and neonatology. Joanne Fehr, DVM, Diplomate ACVS
Originally from England, Dr. Fehr is a 1993 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a year-long, post-doctoral internship at the Young-Crawford Clinic in Canada, followed by a surgical residency at Colorado State University. After becoming a board-certified surgeon, Dr. Fehr practiced at CSU for another year as an emergency clinician before going into private practice in Alberta, Canada in 1997. Her practice has included significant experience with colic, lameness and arthroscopy. Since joining Pilchuck’s large animal staff in 2001, Dr. Fehr has also become very involved in the medical and surgical treatment of llamas and alpacas. Dr. Fehr enjoys spending quality time with her children, and her husband, the “computer genius”. She has a gift for art, including interior design, and enjoys staying active riding, running or rollerblading. Robert C. Gregory, DVM
A 1979 honors graduate of the National Veterinary School in
Toulouse, France, Dr. Gregory completed a residency in large animal
surgery at Tufts University. Until 1998, he lived in California
where his practice included racetrack and reproduction work. He
served as a member of the veterinary team for the 1984 Olympic
Games, held in Los Angeles. Dr. Gregory has lived and practiced
in Washington since 1999. He joined Pilchuck’s equine ambulatory
staff in 2001, where his special interest is equine dentistry.
He has advanced his knowledge in this field through participation
in multiple continuing education programs in preparation
for certification. When he’s not seeing equine patients and cheerfully
sharing his knowledge with his clients, Dr. Gregory spends
time with his family enjoying fishing, snow sports, and traveling. Brandi Holohan, DVM
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000, Dr. Holohan was accepted for a one-year, post-doctoral internship at Pilchuck’s equine referral hospital. Her move to Snohomish allowed her to broaden her veterinary experience and, during her time away from the hospital, to enjoy hiking, camping, horseback riding, and dirt biking in the Pacific Northwest. In July 2001, Dr. Holohan joined Pilchuck’s team of equine ambulatory doctors where her special interest has been mare and stallion reproductive management. Her continuing education in this area has been a major asset to the services offered at Puget Sound Equine Reproduction Center. On her weekends off, Dr. Holohan continues to enjoy outdoor activities with her husband, son, and their two Jack Russell terriers. Lisa Gift Krauter, DVM, Diplomate ACVS
Dr. Krauter has been a member of Pilchuck’s team of boardcertified large animal surgeons since 1992. She graduated from the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988, and received her equine surgical training at Kansas State University. Her areas of special interest are equine lameness diagnosis and treatment, and colic surgery. She enjoys the challenge of helping her equine patients achieve their athletic potential and is frequently consulted on subtle lameness issues. A former competitive swimmer, Dr. Krauter continues to enjoy water sports and scuba diving. She likes snakes, hates shopping. Dr. Krauter is an active member of her church, and has fun debating religion or politics with her friends. She and her husband enjoy time with their children, hiking and traveling. Michelle Delco, DVM, Diplomate ACVS
Dr. Delco received her veterinary degree from Cornell University. She completed her internship at Rood and Riddle, in Lexington, KY and finished her surgical residency at the University of California at Davis. Before joining Pilchuck in 2008, Dr. Delco was an Assistant Professor at KSU in orthopedic surgery and lameness and was involved in researching new methods of internal fixation. Her primary focus is minimally invasive surgery (including laparoscopy, arthroscopy and tenoscopy) and the progressive treatment of orthopedic injuries. She also enjoys working with veterinarians to diagnose complicated and frustrating poor performance and lameness issues. Clint McKnight, DVM
Dr. McKnight has had a lot of experience with sutures, both the kind he uses to “stitch up” his large animal patients and the near-record number he received as a competitive bull-rider while in college. He grew up in Ventura County, California, and completed his undergraduate degree at Washington State University before graduating from Ross University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Dr. McKnight joined Pilchuck’s equine ambulatory team in 2005, after completing a one-year, postdoctoral internship at Pilchuck’s equine referral hospital. His practice interest is general medicine, lameness diagnosis, and digital radiography. He enjoys camping, hiking, skiing, diving, and spending time with his wife and daughter. Their animal family includes a Great Dane, Star, and two cats, Anna & Tigger. Jennifer Miller, DVM
Dr. Miller admits that her passion for horses has been a defining part of her life. By age twelve, she’d saved up enough money to buy her first horse, Sabrina, who is now 25 years old. Dr. Miller worked for a mixed-animal practice while attending high school in Eastern Kansas. She graduated from Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and then completed a year-long, post-doctoral internship at Pilchuck’s equine referral hospital. She joined Pilchuck’s equine ambulatory staff in September 2004. Her experience with a wide variety of cases in horses from many disciplines as an intern prepared her well to handle work as a field veterinarian. During weekends off, Dr. Miller likes to go camping or hiking with her husband and their three English Mastiffs, or ride her old equine friend. Michael Salewski, DVM, CAC, CVA
A 1990 graduate of Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Salewski subsequently completed extensive training in veterinary chiropractic, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine. Since joining Pilchuck in 1993 as an equine ambulatory practitioner, the main focus of Dr. Salewski’s practice has been the integration of alternative therapies with conventional veterinary medicine. This integrative approach has proven valuable to both his equine and small animal patients. Dr. Salewski traveled to China in October 2004, to further his knowledge of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, and has recently co-authored the textbook, Chinese Veterinary Herbal Therapy. He has been instrumental in the development of an alternative medicine/rehabilitation center at Pilchuck. A devoted dad, his free time is spent with his boys and his wife on their farm.
