Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital established the Puget Sound Equine Reproduction Center (PSERC) in 1996. The idea was to offer a package of services to mare and stallion owners that included coordination and management of the breeding or collection process delivered by staff trained in equine reproduction procedures and processes. Taking your horse to PSERC for breeding ensures that the vet will be available at the time your mare needs checking or breeding, and provides shipping and storage services for semen. This package of services has a preset cost, ensuring that there will be no surprises or hidden fees. See fee sheets for which services are included.
PSERC was originally the vision of Dr. John Mitten, and with his retirement, Pilchuck doctors Liz Edmunds, Robert Gregory, and Brandi Holohan have taken over veterinary responsibility at the breeding center.
Location
PSERC is located at Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital in Snohomish, Washington. |
